The atheist and his atheism.
Atheism is defined by Webster's New World Dictionary as, "1. the belief that there is no God, or denial that God or gods exist. 2. godlessness". An atheist, therefore, is a person who believes that there is no God. But what does the Bible say?

The bible is know to be rather inaccurate so I wouldn't use a definition from it
Atheism is a belief system that ardently denies the existence of God. God calls the atheist a FOOL. Many atheists spend much time and effort attempting to "disprove" that God exists. According to Romans chapter 1 they know that He exists, but they want to control their own lives and not submit to the Lord. They are actually rather tragic figures just like any other unsaved individual. It is hard to live out their atheism.
We don't ardently deny the existence of god, if someone were to provide us with good concrete hard evidence we would believe in god. Would we care what god calls us when we don't think he exists. We may spend a lot of time to disprove the existence of god although we don't have to because the theist is the one making the existence claim and if you make an existence claim you are the one who has to prove it. Of course we want control over our lives, we don't like the idea of god watching over us as it is a bit too much like 1984[1] and wont submit ourselves to a fictional character. The atheist's RELIGION (which is simply a system of beliefs based on a philosophy) of atheism is simply a way to try to block out and override the truth--the ol' ostrich-head-in-the-sand technique:

In sense 1 and 2 atheism is not a religion as it doesn't worship any gods, in sense 3 it isn't because there is no formal belief and worship system in atheism and it is only a religion in sense 4 with some people and if you use that sense then sport and many TV shows are religions. Atheists are open minded about their beliefs and if someone were to prove that god existed than most atheists would convert to theism and we will listen to theists who try to make us believe in god (I have been deleted from two xian clubs for telling them about atheism yet xians who have joined atheist clubs to put across their views have been tolerated, If anyone is sticking their head it the sand it is the xians)

I don't think that would work on an atheist even though it may work on a xian. God is a fictional character and if we stop believing in him he will stop existing which makes him dependent on us. Wars and famines do come and go but it does not have to be like this, xianity provides a lot of reasons to go to war, doesn't the bible say that war shouldn't trouble you? I don't like that attitude and war and famine does trouble me and probably a lot of liberal xians, there isn't jesus there is proof that jesus was never born and there's nothing you can do about it and as a result we can't humble ourselves before jesus and he can't turn us to powder. Most atheists have what I call the Don Quixote Syndrome. Let me explain. Cervantes wrote a book about Don Quixote a long time ago. Don Quixote would attack windmills as if they were his enemies. Of course a windmill is nobody's enemy. If what the atheist believes is REALLY his belief, then he would leave people like me alone. After all, if God did not exist, He and His followers would be no enemy to the atheist. We'd just be deluded people. Therefore IF the atheist REALLY believes there is no God and the fool attacks a Christian, then he has the Don Quixote Syndrome because the Christian is not his enemy. Nevertheless, God is real and THAT is why atheists have all these organizations and debates to "prove" that God does not exist. Atheist reader, if you would just be true to what you purport to believe, then you wouldn't have the Don Quixote Syndrome.
Xians suffer from the Don Quixote syndrome because they often attack atheists even though the atheists aren't out to hurt anyone, deluded people have been known to do some very bad things. At the moment atheism is the belief system I'm using because it is the only one that stands up to logic and evidence. I can recite a large number of atrocities committed by xians, lets see we have the crusades, the inquisition, the holocaust (Hitler was a catholic), the dark ages, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and countless other holy wars and in fact there are atheists too scared to come out about it for fear of what their xian friends might think. Using the type of logic above it would seem that xians only have churches because god doesn't exist and that is why xians go on TV and preach their bullshit
My old pastor once ministered to an old atheist who had been a card-carrying atheist for decades--but as he laid on his death bed, he wanted a pastor. I don't know if he got saved or not. When it's time to die, many atheists are understandably uneasy and those that aren't should be terrified.
Sounds a lot like the familiar and totally false death bed story. Very few atheists would convert to xianity on the death bed and the educated ones know how flawed Pascals Wager is. Which religion should be chosen when there are thousands, many of which contradict each other. The truth is sometimes uncomfortable but at least we know that we wont go to heaven (Its about 525°C up there, hell is less than 465ºC)
There is hope for the atheist. He can be saved. In fact, there are plenty of atheists that have come to Jesus Christ. I refuse to argue with them, but will answer honest questions. Unfortunately, many atheists ignorantly say hard things against the Lord Jesus Christ and His people. Don't let fancy titles and big words shake your faith in the One who holds your eternal destiny.
I wouldn't want to be saved and I really think Tracy is making it up about the atheists coming to jesus, I'll grant her 1 or 2 but no more. The reason she wont argue with us is because she doesn't have any defence to our points and can't think of any. We may say hard things about jesus and his people but we don't do it ignorantly, we only say those things after we've done a lot of research on the topic and are convinced that there is a greater than 99% probability that we are right. We only use big words when there is no other word available
Think about this: What does the atheist have to offer you? Eternal life? Spiritual comfort? Love? Kindness? Comfort in the midnight hour when no one is around? No, none of these. He has nothing to offer you but blasphemy, hell fire and the wrath of God. The atheist will tell you fabulous fairy tales like

a monkey is your daddy,
a fish is your cousin,
you have no hope,
you should just live for today,
when you're dead, you're dead.
Xianity offers many things but it can't deliver whereas atheism only offers things it can deliver. Why don't we offer eternal life? Because eternal life is impossible the second law of thermodynamics makes it so (it doesn't make evolution impossible). Also according to jesus you are saved though works not belief, paul (or saul) said that you are saved by belief which jesus never did. As for those fairy tales Tracy is using the straw man fallacy. Xians will tell you fabulous fairy tales like
the world was created in six days
we were created in gods image (actually I think we created god in our image)
women were created from mans rib
we shouldn't care about this life
you should not worry about war
the bible is accurate
when your dead you will go to either heaven or hell
If you follow their ignorant advice and die without Christ, you WILL forever regret it and you will remember that someone told you the truth and you scoffed.
Xians are the ignorant ones and personally I would rather go to hell than heaven, anyway at least hell is cooler, and one of the best things about atheism is that you don't have to waster your time in prayer, going to church and other bullshit activities, on Sunday I like to sleep in whilst xians go to church, also any problems I am having in my life must be solved by me, not some god.
Atheists try their hardest to argue a fact that is firmly established--God is real. You cannot look on His creation and its ways and honestly deny it. I won't argue that 2+2=4 and I won't argue that God exists. An atheist once wrote and said, "2+2 is not necessarily 4". Well, write any other number on your math test and see if you get it right.
The existence of god is not firmly established, in thousands of years no one has ever proven gods existence and so atheists aren't likely to be proven wrong. Also this world is too imperfect for it to have been created by god just look at the human eye, it is so jury rigged, why is the retina wired in backwards yet a squids eye is wired the right way? Only evolution could explain that. If you are using a trinary (or ternary) number system 2 + 2 = 11 and if your using base four 2 + 2 = 10
The bottom line is that atheism is a false belief system composed of fools--it's not new--the Bible told us about atheism thousands of years ago. Is there a real atheist? No. The closest thing to it is someone who has told themselves a lie so many times that they begin to believe it's true.
Xianity is a false belief system, atheism is true and is composed of intelligent people, xianity is composed of fools, the bible is not a book I would be likely to believe. Is there a real atheist? Yes. If someone says they are an atheist then they are. What about xians? They have been brainwashed into believing in god and think that the myth of god and christ is true.
